It has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), AICTE, New Delhi. The department has received grants from the AICTE New Delhi for the MODROBS of laboratory and also the grant from the University of Pune, UGC New Delhi under the Research schemes. The department runs a students club called “Debuggers" Club for UG Students and "Abacus" Club for PG students. The clubs and the student branch of Computer Society of India organizes various activities such as Seminars, Quiz competitions, Paper Presentations, Project exhibition and workshops. Students participate in various National and International Conferences and Sports events at the University and state levels and have won several awards. Miss Pratusha Pallavi was the University Topper and several students have obtained University Ranks in the University Examinations. The Department has an excellent placement record and the placed students are working in prestigious software industries all over the world.
