The K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research was established in year 1984. The institute has fully developed infrastructure and provides four years course leading to Bachelors degree of University of Pune in eight branches namely Civil, Computer, Production, Chemical, Electrical, Production, Electronics and Tele Communication and Information Technology with intake of 600 students. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra, and is affiliated to the University of Pune. I am happy to state that our Institute is adjudged as Grade ‘A’ College by the Government of Maharashtra. In our Institute, the teaching and non-teaching staff is a blend of senior experienced and young dynamic faculty members devoted to the noble cause of education. In addition to academics, the students are engaged in sports and cultural activity to provide a healthy relief from rigorous routine.

The institute has a library of area 24, 250 Sq. M that includes reference section E-Library facility and study zone for students. It has a rich collection of more than 50,000 books costing over one crore rupees. These include text books, reference books, National and International Journals and Magazines. The Institute is having a spacious ground and modern facilities for both indoor and outdoor games with newly established Gymnasium for bodybuilding and fitness. Due to able and proper guidance and motivation, many of our students have not only excel at University level, but at National level in different sports events. Many of our students were toppers in university examinations and are in great demand in industries of metro cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune etc. and even abroad.

I am also happy to convey you that since the year ‘2006’, our Institute has become the pioneer in starting various Post Graduate courses in Engineering in the Nashik region; we have ME courses in Electrical, Production and Civil engineering. The related braches have started the research centers too! The Institute is also planning to start Research Center through which research will be undertaken in the frontier areas of technology for remaining branches. We are running Master of Computer Application (MCA) course under engineering faculty at Computer Engineering Department. The year ‘2008’ has marked an opening for the start of Management Courses to contribute in building the nation through qualified Engineers and Managers.

We, at K. K. Wagh Education Society, strive to cultivate students who are not only successful in their personal and professional fields, but who take upon themselves the challenge to fetch science and technology to the doorsteps of the common man and to propel India as the leader in the emerging technologies. We have initiated dialogue with reputed foreign Universities for collaboration in various fields. We have training and placement department where the efforts of the students are encashed by getting very good job offers in reputed companies even before the final results. I am sure that the performance by our students reflects the inspiration of today’s youth, ready to face the Global Challenges!
