Significant Achievements of the IT Dept

* Eight students successfully completed the IBM RAD certification in Aug. 2011.

* Final Year Project titled “Platform for Location Based Mobile Marketing” was selected for the Jed-I    Challenge contest 2011, organized by IISc. Bangalore.

* A final year student was qualified as a Sun certified programmer in 2009.

* Three students received scholarship of Rs.20,000/- each, from BMC Software, Pune in 2007. Another    student received a scholarship from PT Education in 2009.

* Ten students participated in the Geocoders challenge was a joint project by KK Wagh Education    society and IIT Bombay and successfully developed the agricultural i-Google gadgets
.
* The dept. has recently received a grant of Rs. 50,000/- (Jan 2012) from University of Pune for    conducting a state level workshop on IT Project Management and its applications.
