of student chapters in National/International Technical Societies (such as IE, IEE,
IEEE and CSI):
A student chapter of SAE, India (Society of
Automotive Engineers, International) is established in department of Mechanical
Engineering, K.K.Wagh College of Engineering, Nashik.
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
is the biggest world wide association devoted
for the cause of Automotive learning in various automobile field. Aim of our chapter
is to spread the technical knowledge through paper presentation, participation in
seminars, Quiz and technical completions with special conference to automobile engineering
field, to give exposure and to acquaint our students to advanced development and
various innovations related with Auto Engineering. It provides a platform for students
to exhibit their skills, to arrange the lectures of eminent professionals like vehicle
designer, R&D officers in the field of Automobile sectors etc. Execution committee
of chapter comprises of staff adviser, president, secretary Treasurer and committee
members
Mechanical
Engineering Students’ Association (MESA)
MESA was established with the view to develop personality of students. This is achieved
by involving the students in arranging seminars, workshop and technical lecturers.
This helps in imparting technical knowledge to the students going beyond the scope
of the syllabus. In addition to this it help to improve communication skills, analytical
capabilities with sheer entertainment, students stage skits, sing and entertain
the students with their talents. This is attended through conducting group discussions,
elocution competition and with the help of experts in the emerging engineering field.
