The CSI Nashik chapter was established in the year 1989 and conducts several activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, training programs, quiz, essay, project competitions. The chapter also publishes its monthly bulletin “ACCESS”. The chapter in the past has conducted several national and regional level events such as ‘BIG’ 95, ‘Conmicro’ Conference in the years 1997 and 2005, Western Region Conference and student convention in the year 2000. The chapter and its affiliated student branch at K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik have received the Best Chapter and the Best Student branch awards in the western region. The monthly bulletin has also received the Best News Bulletin award. Currently the chapter has established four student branches that are affiliated to the K K Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research, Nashik, MET’s Bhujbal Knowledge City College of Engineering, Nashik, SRE’s COE Kopargaon and IMRD, Shirpur.
