The Computer Society of India (CSI) is a pioneer society of IT professionals. The society was established in the year 1965 and has more than 80 chapters and 400 student branches spread across eight regions in the country. The Society provides platform for IT professionals, academicians and students to share and exchange their thoughts and ideas. The society organizes several activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, training programs. It has five divisions that focus on the development of specific areas such as Hardware, Software, Science Application, Education management etc.
